Signs & Yard Signs FAQs.
How long do coroplast yard signs last outdoors in Florida?
With UV-stable inks, expect roughly 6 to 12 months of usable life in direct Florida sun before visible fading. 10mm coroplast holds up better than 4mm in wind. For anything intended to last years, rigid substrates like aluminum or PVC are the right choice.
What is the difference between 4mm and 10mm coroplast?
Thickness and rigidity. 4mm is the economical standard for short-term campaigns and real estate riders. 10mm is noticeably stiffer, resists wind bending and lasts longer, which matters for signs standing through a Florida storm season.
What size should a yard sign be to be readable from the road?
18x24 inches is standard and readable from a sidewalk or slow street. For traffic moving 35 mph or faster, go to 24x36 and reduce the message to a handful of words. Legibility is driven far more by word count and contrast than by sign size.
Do you provide stakes and hardware with signs?
Yes. H-stakes for coroplast, frames and posts for rigid signage, and appropriate mounting hardware for wall or fence installs. Real estate post-and-panel systems and rider hardware are available as complete packages.
Can signs be double-sided?
Yes, and for yard and roadside placement it usually pays for itself since traffic passes from both directions. Double-sided coroplast is a modest upcharge. For rigid signs it depends on the substrate, and we will tell you when the second side is not worth the cost.
