Banners & Flags · Tampa Bay

Banners and flags that still look new at the end of the season.

In banner printing, the difference between lasting one event and lasting three years is stock weight, ink and finishing. We pick all three for the install, and we finish to the mount you actually have.

Questions we get

Banners & Flags FAQs.

What is the difference between scrim and blockout vinyl banners?

Scrim vinyl is the standard reinforced banner material, somewhat translucent, suitable for most indoor and outdoor use. Blockout has an opaque core so light and background do not show through, which matters for double-sided printing and hanging where something is visible behind it.

How long will a vinyl banner last outdoors in Florida?

A premium vinyl banner with UV-stable inks typically holds up 1 to 3 years in Florida conditions depending on exposure. Direct all-day sun and salt air shorten that considerably. Heavier 18oz blockout stock lasts longer than standard scrim.

What finishing do I need for a banner?

Hemmed edges and grommets are standard and suit most installs. Pole pockets are for banners sliding onto poles or crossbars. Wind slits help on large banners in high-exposure locations. Tell us how you are mounting it and we will finish accordingly, since a beautiful banner with the wrong finishing cannot be hung.

Should I choose feather flags or teardrop flags?

Feather flags are taller and narrower with more vertical message space, and they move more in wind. Teardrop flags hold their shape better in gusts and stay more readable in wind. For consistently breezy locations like beachfront retail, teardrop is usually the better call.

Are double-sided flags worth the extra cost?

If foot or vehicle traffic approaches from both directions, yes. Single-sided flags print a mirrored, faded version on the reverse, which looks unintentional. Double-sided uses a blockout layer so both faces read correctly.
