The agency that keeps watch.
Coastwell Creative is a marketing agency for businesses in specialized, high-stakes industries, where generic marketing falls flat and lost credibility is hard to win back.
Why a lifeguard stand?
A lifeguard works from an elevated chair because you can't protect what you can't see. We think about visibility the same way. We sit above the noise of individual channels, watch the whole water (rankings, AI answers, competitors, algorithm shifts), and act early, before a change turns into a crisis.
It also sets the standard for how we behave. Lifeguards don't oversell, don't panic, and don't leave the chair. When you work with Coastwell, someone senior is always watching your account rather than a rotating cast of coordinators.
We're deliberately small. Every client gets the people who actually do the work, and we say no to engagements we can't watch properly.
Three gates every deliverable passes.
Before anything ships to a client, whether it's a page, a post, or a short email, it clears three checks. That discipline is how a small agency delivers consistently.
Accurate
Facts sourced, terminology exact, names spelled right. In regulated industries, approximate is wrong.
On-brand
It sounds like you, not like an agency. If it could have been written for any company, it gets rewritten.
Strategic
One clear message, one clear action, and a reason it exists. Nothing ships just to fill a calendar.
More about how we operate.
Who is behind Coastwell Creative?
A small senior team based in St. Petersburg, Florida. We are deliberately small so that the people who plan your strategy are the ones who build your site and write your content, and we decline engagements we cannot watch properly.
Why is the agency called Coastwell Creative?
The name and the lifeguard stand mark come from the view from an elevated chair, you cannot protect what you cannot see. We monitor rankings, AI citations and competitors continuously so a shift reaches you before it reaches your pipeline.
How many clients do you work with at once?
A limited number, intentionally. Every client gets senior attention, which caps how many engagements we can run well. When we are at capacity we say so rather than taking the work and thinning the attention everyone gets.
What are your quality standards?
Every deliverable clears three gates before it ships: accuracy, meaning facts sourced and terminology exact; brand fit, meaning it sounds like you rather than like an agency; and strategic clarity, meaning one clear message and one clear action.
Do you work with clients outside Tampa Bay?
Yes. Web, SEO, AI visibility and content are location-independent, and we have clients outside the region. Print and signage ship nationwide too. Proofs are handled by email either way, so the only thing Tampa Bay clients get that others do not is local delivery instead of a carrier.
Who we are not for.
Two kinds of engagement go badly for everyone involved. Better to say so here than three weeks into a proposal.
If you need a large team or round-the-clock coverage
We are deliberately small, and we take on a limited number of clients so the people who plan your work are the people who do it. That is the whole model, and it means we are the wrong choice for an organization that needs depth of bench, overnight turnaround or someone reachable at any hour. There are good agencies built for that. We are not one of them.
If you are shopping on price
There is almost always someone cheaper, and for some work cheaper is genuinely the right call. But we do the research before we write, we specify print for the conditions it will actually live in, and we build sites properly rather than quickly. That costs more than the alternative. If the deciding factor is the number at the bottom, we will not be it.
